Dailite's Strengths

Large-size Blow Molding Products

We have introduced large-size blow-molding machinery since 1974. Using this machinery, we harness the properties of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) to manufacture and sell strong, light-weight lorry tanks for agriculture as well as various other industrial materials.

Large-size Blow Molding Products

Blow Molding

  • 1.Using an extrusion machine, molten resin is stored in the accumulator head.

  • 2.The resin that has accumulated in the accumulator head is extruded downwards in a cylindrical form. (This tube-like resin is called "parison.")

  • 3.The mold is closed after a blow pin, which is used to inject air from below, has been inserted. The parison is then put together between the mold at its top and bottom.

  • 4.Air is then blown into the mold through the blow pin, stretching the parison by the air pressure until it fills and adheres to the inside of the mold. The mold is cooled and the resin gradually hardens until completely solid, at which point the mold is opened and the product is pulled out.

Advantages of Large-size Blow Molding

  • 1.Due to its short molding cycle, blow molding is ideally suited for the mass production of sealed products (vessels).

  • 2.At Dailite, we manufacture lorry tanks that are 600 liters and under using blow molding. (In general, blow molding is most commonly used for products such as PET bottles. This is why blow molding of vessels as big as 600 liters is categorized as "large-size blow molding.")
