In 1962, Dailite got its start as Japan's first rotational molding factory for plastics. In the following years, centering on its lineup of large products, Dailite began sending its tanks out into the world.
Today, Dailite tanks enjoy an exceptional reputation among our customers, as sales continue to move forward. We work tirelessly to further improve our product quality, so that our customers always receive quality that will leave them fully satisfied.

History

April 1962 Engaged in technological cooperation with Claybelle Columbus LTD. of France for rigid PVC foams goods and Delaware Barrel and Drums LTD of the USA for the production of chemical drums (Heisler Rotational Molding Method). Launched the newly-established Funabashi Factory for Daiki Rubber Industry Co., Ltd.
October 1963 With capital of 50 million yen, became independent as Funabashi Kasei Co., Ltd. and established a head office in Funabashi City, Chiba
April 1967 With a transfer of capital, became an affiliated company of Itochu Corporation
August 1988 Moved the head factory to Ryugasaki City, Ibaraki
October 1988 Changed company name to Dailite Co., Ltd.
April 1991 Increased capital to 100 million yen
December 1997 Acquired ISO9001 certification (JQA-2060)
March 2002 With a transfer of capital, became a consolidated subsidiary of Takiron Co., Ltd.
October 2003 Acquired ISO14001 certification (JQA-EM3461) Acquisition of certification:Head Office (Factory)
April 2004 Received trade rights for Mitsubishi Chemical E-tech's rotational molding operations
Increased capital to 150 million yen
November 2005 Dissolved the affiliated company Daitena Co., Ltd.
May 2007 Received trade rights for Mitsubishi Chemical E-tech's corrosion-resistant equipment department
August 2007 Moved the Tokyo head office to Nihonbashi-hamacho
March 2008 Executed an absorption-type merger of the sales subsidiary DTS Co., Ltd.
February 2010 Moved the Tokyo head office to Konan, Minato Ward
February 2015 Executed an absorption-type merger of the subsidiary Dailite Service Co., Ltd.
